This place is worth escaping the crowds of Amalfi to get to. A beautiful small family-run restaurant with a small but delicious and home-cooked menu. The lemon granita was delicious and we had 3 pastas and a meatballs. The food is simple but wholesome and you can’t beat the views and being up high in the mountains. Very friendly staff - would love to come back!

This was the best meal we had in all of the Amalfi Coast! Delicious fresh ingredients, gorgeous natural wine, wonderful service and very reasonably priced. The walk from Amalfi is not too bad to get there either, would 100% recommend. We had reserved in advance.

Without a doubt the best meal we had on the Amalfi coast. It's a little bit of a hike but the walk is beautiful and the restaurant and food makes it well worth the effort. Every dish we had was so tasty, the lemon granita was so fresh and full of flavour. It was so nice and peaceful away from the main tourist area. Staff were friendly and we will forever be recommending this place.

Amazing family-run operation with one of the most quaint and beautiful restaurants I've been to. Everything is made with ingredients from their farm and it shows. We did a cooking class and it was such a joy to learn from Silvia and her mother, plus the entire process was very smooth. I would definitely recommend making the long walk up the stairs from Amalfi Center and have a meal, wine, lemonade, you name it. Very friendly people and there's generational passion that gets passed on through the food. We will be back whenever we're in Amafli!

A Hidden Gem in Amalfi – Truly Magical! Visiting Agricola Fore Porta was one of the most unforgettable experiences of our entire trip. The journey alone — a peaceful walk through breathtaking Amalfi scenery and fragrant lemon groves — sets the stage for something truly special. And it absolutely delivers. Everything about this place is authentic, warm, and full of heart. It’s family-run, and you can feel the love in every detail — from the warm hospitality to the incredible food and drinks, all made from ingredients grown right on their own farm. The food was beyond amazing — fresh, rustic, and full of flavor. Every dish tasted like it came straight from the earth and onto our plates, prepared with genuine care and traditional techniques. The drinks were equally fantastic, especially their homemade lemon juice cocktails! The service was so personal and kind — you’re welcomed like old friends and treated like part of the family. Agricola Fore Porta is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience, a peaceful retreat, and a true taste of Amalfi. We couldn’t recommend it more highly. If you’re in the area, this is an absolute must-do! They truly made my 30th Birthday one to remember! Thank you again

What can I say, the walk here was crazy. Don’t let Google maps fool you. It’s a trek with stairs a lot of the way. It was hot and I 100% should have taken a bottle of water. That being said at the end of the is grand journey lays in wait a perfect restaurant. Farm to table with the nicest of families running it. The food was cooked with love and everyone sitting at their tables was connected by the journey we took to get there. Everything was fresh, unassuming and non apologetic. It is what it is, genuine food cooked from the soul. If you are in Amalfi, this is a must try. Put some walking shoes on and make the trek, you will not be disappointed. Started with a lemon slushy, was needed after the walk. Then moved to a charcuterie (the beans were divine), a pesto pasta to share for entree. Mains were meatballs and mince stuffed zucchini. We did not have a booking but were very lucky for Sunday lunch. I recommend booking a table. On the way back down stop at Melphi for a few beers, you will have early it.

One of the best food experiences out there! Don’t let the walk put you off, it’s worth every bit. The staff are incredibly friendly and are happy to explain all the dishes. The atmosphere is as peaceful as it gets, there no feeling of being rushed, sitting back and enjoying the views is encouraged As for the food, the menu changes daily based on what produce is available from the farm, so everything is extremely fresh and flavourful with plenty of options to choose from. Overall this is a must, and I will be recommending to everyone - thank you!
